Belair’s power and athleticism eventually prevailed. She hoisted Deville up for a massive vertical suplex that swung the momentum in her favor. The champion unleashed her signature braid whips and shoulder tackles, forcing Deville into retreat.

A desperate Deville resorted to nefarious tactics like eye rakes and chokeholds, threatening to be disqualified. The ref warned her multiple times but Belair powered through the cheap shots. The EST hit her KOD finisher out of nowhere for the victory, much to the delight of the WWE Universe.

Cody Rhodes Returns to WWE, Confronts Seth Rollins

Cody Rhodes made a triumphant return to WWE after six years away. At WrestleMania Backlash, he had the chance to confront his old rival Seth “Freakin” Rollins.

The History

Cody and Seth have had bad blood for years. Back in 2016, Seth betrayed Cody and the rest of The Shield when he joined The Authority. Their feud culminated at WrestleMania 32 where Cody got his revenge in a brutal Hell in a Cell match. After the match, Cody left WWE to pursue opportunities outside the company.

The Return

After years of fan demand, Cody finally made his return to WWE at the Royal Rumble. He entered as a surprise entrant and won the whole thing, earning a title match at WrestleMania. The next night on Raw, Cody came out to celebrate, but Seth interrupted. Seth mocked Cody for leaving WWE and said he didn’t deserve to win the Royal Rumble or challenge for the title at WrestleMania. Cody challenged Seth to a match at WrestleMania Backlash to prove he still belonged. Seth accepted.

The Aftermath

At WrestleMania Backlash, Cody and Seth had an epic rematch of their Hell in a Cell classic from years earlier. Despite suffering a torn pectoral muscle during the match, Cody persevered and defeated Seth after hitting three Cross Rhodes. After the match, Seth showed Cody respect and the two former rivals shook hands.

Cody’s return and victory over Seth proves he’s back in WWE for good. And after finally earning Seth’s respect, the door is open for these two to team up as allies in the future. The WWE Universe is excited to see what’s next for Cody Rhodes.

Omos Dominates Bobby Lashley in Singles Match

The big man was in complete control, relishing the opportunity to inflict punishment on his rival.

After several minutes of one-sided action, Lashley finally created an opening when Omos charged into the ring post shoulder-first. The former WWE Champion unloaded with punches and elbows, staggering the giant. Lashley tried for a suplex but couldn’t get Omos up. Omos responded with a double ax handle, but Lashley ducked and connected with a spear out of nowhere.

Somehow, Lashley mustered enough strength to lift Omos for a vertical suplex. The crowd erupted as Omos crashed to the mat. Lashley went for the pin, but Omos kicked out at one. Frustration started to show on Lashley’s face. He climbed to the top rope looking to finish Omos with an elbow drop, but Omos caught him in mid-air and powerslammed him into the canvas.

Omos dragged Lashley into the corner and prepared to squash him with a running butt bump. At the last moment, Lashley slid out of the way and Omos slammed into the turnbuckles.
